The coat +crown series was developed in a moment of fun and whimsy and stayed. The body is human but the head/spirit is crow inspired which represents change or transformation but more than that, it refers more to a spiritual or emotional change which can lead to valuable insight into situations around us and help us adapt as needed. My voluptuous wabi sabi style cups celebrate and embrace the materials l use so each pot has its own wonderful embracing subtle peculiarities…l love to capture the beauty of their unique personalities in my images all of which make me smile.
